Who are we

Background 

Geospatial and Project Management professionals with over 10 years of cumulative experience spanning disaster risk reduction, climate resilience, infrastructure development, and sustainable development initiatives across the Pacific region. Combining expertise in geospatial science, digital data systems, field operations, and programme management to support evidence-based decision-making for governments, regional organizations, and international development partners.

Extensive experience contributing to and leading donor-funded programmes supported by organizations including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, United Nations agencies, NZ MFAT, and the Climate Risk and Early Warning Systems (CDRI) initiative. Experience includes multi-country projects involving geospatial database development, exposure and vulnerability assessments, UAV/drone mapping, field data collection, digital transformation, and institutional capacity building.

With a professional foundation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial technologies, expertise has expanded into project management, programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strategic implementation. Experience includes managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating partnerships across government and development sectors, and supporting the delivery of complex regional programmes focused on disaster resilience, climate adaptation, and sustainable development.

Specialized in transforming complex spatial and field-based datasets into practical decision-support solutions through the application of GIS, remote sensing, UAV technologies, and data management systems. This work supports improved disaster risk assessments, infrastructure planning, climate resilience initiatives, and development programming.

Regional experience spans more than 10 Pacific Island countries, supporting governments and development partners through technical advisory services, geospatial analysis, field surveys, training programmes, and project implementation. Key areas of work include spatial database development, digital workflow design, GIS and UAV capacity building, and supporting institutions to adopt sustainable geospatial solutions.

Beyond technical delivery, experience includes programme management, partnership development, stakeholder coordination, and institutional strengthening. A strong focus on building local capacity and ensuring geospatial technology and data-driven approaches are practical, accessible, and sustainable for organizations and communities.

Recipient of the 2022 Pacific Regional Commonwealth Youth Award in recognition of contributions to rural development in Papua New Guinea through airstrip restoration and community infrastructure initiatives. This recognition reflects a continued commitment to using technology, innovation, and collaborative approaches to support inclusive development and improve outcomes for vulnerable communities across the Pacific.

Outside of professional work, interests include drone photography, aerial mapping, and visual storytelling—capturing the landscapes, communities, and development journeys of the Pacific and beyond.
